HOW TO RESOLVE/FIX FACEBOOK LITE ERROR
CLEAR CACHE
According To Wikipedia
In computing, a cache is a hardware or software component that stores data so future requests for that data can be served faster; the data stored in a cache might be the result of an earlier computation or the duplicate of data stored elsewhere.
A cache hit occurs when the requested data can be found in a cache, while a cache miss occurs when it cannot. Cache hits are served by reading data from the cache, which is faster than recomputing a result or reading from a slower data store; thus, the more requests can be served from the cache, the faster the system performs.
To be cost-effective and to enable efficient use of data, caches must be relatively small. Nevertheless, caches have proven themselves in many areas of computing because access patterns in typical computer applications exhibit the locality of reference—access patterns exhibit temporal locality (data is requested again that has been recently requested already) and spatial locality (requests for data physically stored close to data that has been already requested).
- Go to Settings, usually like a gear icon.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps
- Locate and tap on the Facebook Lite icon.
- Kindly select Storage
- Now tap on the Clear Cache button.
- Click on any option which will direct you to another page then press the back button.
For example, I experienced this when I tried to view the profile and cover photo of a friend at the same time and I was unable to go back, instead, I keep seeing the profile or cover photo when I press the back button. What I did was,
- Clear Cache data following the above steps,
- Go back to Facebook,
- Tap on Share Icon on one of the photos and
- Then tap on the Back button.
Like magic, the error was gone. I continued surfing with ease and joy.
